There is something magically weird when you are in a select group allowed to photograph a show. It happened back in February for Les Louanges in a sold out MTelus where we were one of two medias allowed to photograph. And it happened again last month with Inhaler at the Corona Theatre.
The much hyped irish rock band, coming off a stong Osheaga 2022 performance, was headlining a sold out show at the Corona. Along with the house photographer and a photographer who knows the band, I was allowed in to photograph Inhaler for the typical 3 songs and out for iHeartRadio and CHOM.
A set with some good energy and some crazy fans. The contrasty light made me happy we didn’t have to fight for positions in the pit. Inhaler first made some headlines because lead singer Elijah being the son of U2’s Bono. They are now making waves with some catchy tunes and a great stage presence.
It is times like these when I see the many years of professional attitude and hard work (and a few nice clicks here and there) gets you in the door to do what you.
