Bebe Rexha, singer, songer writer and rising star, opened up the evening at the Bell Centre last week during the Jonas Brothers Happiness Begins tour. While Bebe has been around for a few years, from getting writing credits on Eminem’s The Monster to a few EP releases, I first heard of Bebe Rexha on her collab with Florida Georgia Line entitled “Meant to Be”. What can I say, I was trying to get into something a little more country 😉
On star she gives off a very genuine feel. While a simple stage presence that is often behind a mic, the addition of a couple of dancers added some sort of photo variety. I’m really curious to see how her stage presence changes when she is headling her own show. I figure a year or two before she starts hitting up some good sized venues on tour.
Photos were mainly done with a Sigma 120-300 f/2.8, which has become a staple for me when shooting from back at the soundboard. Clear, crisp images, at a fraction of the Canon 300mm f/2.8 price tag (and it’s a zoom!).
