It is about time I blog up these images! It was a few months back that this amazing couple got married. The day started off really hot and humid [insert random joke about their wedding night here] and only got worse from there. The rain hit about 10 minutes before the outdoor ceremony. Let me take that back… the torrential downpour rained down from the heavens 10 minutes before the ceremony. The organizers brought everything inside as the rain was coming down sideways. But regardless of what Mother nature threw at us that day, the wedding went on, the couple was in love, and the guests partied (and boy did they party!).
Out of respect for the couple’s wishes, I’m not including any images of their amazing kids, which somewhat limits my posted set. The kids posed and smiled and were troopers the whole day.

And a quick pause in the image posting to say how much I love my wedding couples. Many say I should do more weddings. Honestly, I’d love to, but I enjoy being picky about those I shoot. I was offered the shoot from my old photography teacher Richard, and I knew that if he liked the couple, I’d like the couple. I love it when not only the guests but the couple get into the moment and just have fun.
Nothing is ever perfect in a wedding. The flowers might be off, the gown might get dirty, the venue might have issues. When you are able to just focus on the positive (or at least hide the negative really well), your day will go so much smoother. Props for rocking your day guys
And I swear they insisted on this one…
