Another year is coming to an end. My last few weeks of December are usually full of accounting, looking over yearly and multi year business plans, closing off some contracts and so on. In doing so, it’s a great time to look back at what has been done in the last 12 months, and it usually gives me a good boost of energy in prepping for the year to come.
2014 was a great year. It was my second year as a full time photographer, and while things aren’t easy, there is progress. I greatly appreciate everyone who has fed me with contacts and gigs, all the new clients who appreciate my work and the returning clients who have the faith they do in my photography. Keep those leads coming people!!
My final tally for 2014 is 184 bands photographed. A good chunk came as being one of the official photographers at Osheaga, Ile Soniq, Heavy Montreal, Villa Paradizo and the Festival de la Chanson de Granby. It is insane thinking that Osheaga alone was a rate of 14 bands a day, shot, edited and uploaded as the festival went on. I am truly blessed to do the work that I do.
So here are some of my favorite images from the last year. There are a few shows that I have killer images from, but due to artist restrictions, I am unable to show them. Sucks, but so go the unfortunate rules of the industry.

And finally..a rare black and white image… no matter what I tried, this image just has the right feel and vibe monochrome.

A bit shout out to all the medias, promoters and artists that have hired me on to capture the moments. Evenko, Villa Paradizo, Festival de la chanson de Granby, Sorstu.ca, La Bible Urbaine, Raw Cut Media, Cornershop Studios… and all the local bands and artists. Thank you!
