Ever gone swimming at night, under the stars? If you haven’t, you have to try. The quietness of being alone in the water, the lack of light. Something magical about it all.
That is how I feel when I go out late at night and do photography. You don’t cross that many people, you have interesting lights that you don’t see during the day. It is a pretty serene feeling, almost zen really. With some good tunes in my ears, I love taking my time walking the streets looking for interesting images. If you add in some rain or some snow, it gives some added texture and interest to the image.
